We're on a quest to find the absolutely BEST eats in North Georgia. We recommend the following restaurants based on our own experiences. Any opinions stated here are our opinions. Sunflower Chinese & Japanese Restaurant - *Absolutely* everything on the menu is fresh and delicious, and friendly smiles are always there to greet us. For a real treat, the Sunday Special Buffet is worth waiting all week for ... and the weekday lunch buffet has all of our favorites, too ... chicken teriyaki, hot crab ragoon, steamed vegetables, several entrees, dessert (fresh fruit, cookies, and ice cream!), excellent egg rolls, mongolian beef, sesame chicken ... I could go on and on (ooh, can't forget those hot little sugar covered donuts!)

Ruen Thai Restaurant - Fresh, delicious Thai food ... excellent service, beautiful decor, HIGHLY recommended!

The PadThai is *awesome* ... Tom loves the shrimp basil rolls. The lemongrass soup served with lunch is a favorite, and the steamed pot stickers are always perfect.

El Jinete Mexican Restaurant - We LOVE this place! Their menu is terrific, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious. Try the chicken, pork or steak Fajita Quesadillas for lunch ... they're awesome ... and the soup is wonderful!
